Art Week 2025: Celebration of Contemporary Art

During Art Week in Mexico City, various cultural events and exhibitions will gather national and international artists, offering a diversity of proposals for art lovers. From February 5 to 9, the Citibanamex Center will host installations by artists and design galleries, as well as photography exhibitions, while BADA Mexico will take place at Campo Marte, where visitors will be able to interact directly with more than 150 authors, including multidisciplinary artists who merge different arts. Additionally, the ACME Salon is dedicated to providing visibility to independent and emerging artists at Ágora Space.

The collective exhibition Crisol will highlight the Mexican contemporary art scene. On the other hand, the Zona MACO fair will showcase contemporary art pieces that have generated controversy. Curated design works will also be enjoyed by Ademan at Fresno 268, Santa María Ribera, featuring artists like Renato Pérez and Siete Studio on February 6.

One of the most transgressive proposals during Art Week will be the work of Mexican artist Fabián Cháirez, known for challenging established ideologies in his paintings. This year, Cháirez presents his collection "La Venida del Señor" at the Academia de San Carlos. Meanwhile, Kelly Santos will exhibit "Gestures of Love" at Alzate St. No. 20, Santa María la Ribera, through photography to capture the feelings arising in urban environments.

At an exclusive event in Santa María la Ribera, a photographic gallery titled "Gestures of Love" will be presented, in collaboration with Braw Haus and Faro. This event, featuring artistic installations and immersive rooms, promises a unique cultural experience for attendees. Additionally, in other areas of Mexico City, various artistic proposals can be enjoyed, such as the cultural event Combo Especial that merges music and performance with New York influences, created by Alison Ambrosio.
